Pete, no **** hit the fan until you threw it and went wading in with abuse and insults (again).

I was trying to keep it off the boards by discussing it in private with you. It need not have gone any further or been said anywhere. I was hoping we could sort it out maturely and not like this on the board. That was exactly why I e-mailed it you to you so we could prevent this happening if it were to happen. That's what you said we should do after our previous head butting. Belive it or not I have been treading lightly around some of your posts and comments to avoid this. I wanted to speak to you about it in private again to avoid this and keep things cool.

My E-mail clearly states I didn't want to say what I had been told but that we need to be open minded to all opinions.

I state that I support RL , and see none of such accusations in the way they conduct themselves.

I specifically stated that I did NOT want to dig for dirt or feed those who are looking for things against the RL and now you accuse me of doing just that?

It appears in certain threads that people can make accusations against organisers and players just as long as Pete and the Mods agree with it. But not if they don't. Not a very healthy situation of open and fair debate.

I have also had enough of this. Once again we aren't gaining from it and distracting from the bigger issues. which for those that need reminding I will quote from my e-mail.

"Ultimately lets sort this out to get RL the ability to film and continue
conducting themselves as an excellent athletic team."

2--first, don't toss me in a group and suggest I've either censored your posts and ganged up on you to try and shut you up as I've frequently done the opposite even when I disagree with you. It's inaccurate and a cheap way to make it sound like everyone is against you.

1--that statement is completely disingenuous as your original posted comments were plainly dark insinuations. Subtle perhaps but so what?

I personally don't care whether or not you come back or are banned (though it's a bad precedent except in the most egregious cases) but it isn't my call even if I had a preference.

Also, while I'm about it open and fair debate is something quite different from staging a brawl (with, admittedly a willing participant) and then pretending to be shocked even as you cling tenaciously to your opinions. The first time i saw you do it I thought it was funny, the next time I saw the pattern and now I understand why it infuriates Pete so much--but no doubt that part of the fun.

Note to Stunna if you read this--don't go away. Pete's just a little paranoid. BTDT. I've seen your posts other places. Hang out for awhile.

My apologies. My posts have only ever been censored by one person. I shouldn't have tossed in all the mods into that comment. It was wrong.

I just saw another thread on here that I am worried will turn into a debate with only one side being shown and since I am actually not looking to start fights I have avoided posting in it.

Your mail to Robo appeared to be contradictory in its intentions even if you didn't intend it to be...

Paul, with no disrespect intended or desire to inflame things, you are missing the whole point.
Your example of connections as so unsubtly displayed by Manike, lies at the very heart at why I am sooo pissed off.

It may be that Mr X is supposed to be part of a paintball team that is clean, it may also be that Mr X may well be in a job that others have described as shady or whatever.

What it does not say is Mr X is therefore shady !!!!

And it was the fact that he even mentioned the dubious characters of Russian bankers within the context of Sergei (knowing him to be a Russian Banker) that made the connection, a connection that you do not deny.
Guilt by association and inference as so ably highlighted by Manike.

Now, no amount of denial, wriggling, crawling, long ass words can change what he said and what he meant.

And Paul, Manike's contributions are generally ok and some informative but it does not give him the right to say the **** he has indulged himself in.
He would do well to keep off of subjects he knows little about.

I am now going to avoid posting in any of the more controvertial threads. I no longer wish to participate in such threads here. I shall endeavour to help out where I can though.

TJ, my debate instructors and design teachers always told me to know both sides of every issue and to endeavour to understand them even if you don't agree with them. I agree my e-mail could have been read as contradictory but I was just stating what I had been told AND that I did NOT agree with it. You can see that in it if you read it as the private e-mail it was intended. I agree my comment about Russian Bankers that was posted here was flippant, and that's why I offered to (and subsequently did remove it) before this all blew up.

I've said my piece now and have things to get on with. See ya in the technical forum some time.

There is a world of difference between 'knowing and understanding', and expressing isn't there...as I said, whatever your intentions may have been, you left yourself wide open to an unfavourable interpretation. I think that is obvious by tha fact that, from what I've read here, Rancid, Baca and myself all independently came to similar conclusions - and all of us were independent of Robos.

Anyhow, let's move on people cos this is doing no-one any good now.
