but that's the rub with competitive sport innit pure? If you can get the edge, push the packet, etc, etc.....most people will. I don't play paintball in any heavily competitive sense, but i'll still occassionally pull off a "grey area" move, just to stay playing longer 'cos I love playing, simple as that.

You only have to look at sporting heroes like Michael Schumacher and, well, any footballer who takes a dive in the penalty area really, to see how far people are prepared to go to get the competitive edge....

Cheating on a walk on down the local site and in a tourney are two different things.

Cant stand cheating in a competition, it sucks:mad: If you cant win fair and square then you shouldn't play.

there is however the problem that when everyone else is doing it then those who dont are at a disadvantage:mad: so if you cant beat em join em. if it is now part of the game then that is sad.

Personally If I win something because I cheated it wouldn't feel 1/10th as good as it would if I'd have won it on sheer ability.

rant over:D

I use to sit on my high and mighty perch, claiming cheating was bad...etc...etc.

Truth is if the refs are good, you aint gonna get away with it without being done so it aint worth cheating....if the refs are crap then the other teams are gonna do it.

Whilst reffing last year i saw all manor of teams cheating, not just Division 1 teams but Division 4 teams. Some did it well (got away with it) and some not so well (1 4 1's galore)

It is part of the game untill the reffs get better.:D
