Saw someone at CC wipe a hopper hit by reloading and closing his hopper with long drawn-out hand motion. He was right next to the netting and everyone nearby saw it. Only 10% moaned about it, the others thought he did it well enough to get away with it.

first off you must be able to conceal it... not hide it... just draw the refs attention to another part of your body, then get the ref to call you neutral.... then whil they're scavvaging around you looking for shots; make like some one has just shot you. at which point you reveal your fiendishly hidden shot to the ref, who, ofcourse, wipes you down cos you are neutral....

sadly not many refs do neutral calls nowadays....

but yeah.. never flinch... never use your hands...if you cant lose it, hide it.. deal with it later...

I'm takin' names and takin' notes.

Most of it I've seen or heard before. It's amazing how many playas enjoy bragging about their tricks to play refs or their cheatin' guns.

The best and most obvious technique for losing hits is having an evil friend in a striped jersey or getting the refs blind drunk and keeping them up all night.

One of the best refs I know was right next to me when he wiped an obvious hit off a player who should have got a penalty, not because he was biased or was friends with the team but because he hadn't had much sleep for a few days.

As for Karkus, sometimes I think we ought to let him go ahead with his antics if they're entertaining enough.

Yeah it was pretty slick, agreed. Except he only realised he had been hit when he went to reload. You could see the morality in his head begin to shift backwards and forwards the moment he saw it.
