This is silly, as issuing a press release in which you say that you don't believe your product is safe CREATES liability.
Slapping a warning on products like this in the EU....

...helps to alleviate liability. Is this unheard of in the US?

As for being called a tosser; well thats no bad thing as I am at least once a day.

so what mode will Nexus, Shockwave, and all the other Ego shoosting teams set their blaster for in Amsterjam?

Or Joy, or any other WDP teams for that matter?

Does the MS even have a device that can measure rate of fire yet (red radar chronos don't count, they're not accurate enough).

Or will ramping rule the day again?

The guy at Tadao must be minted by now, and it can't be bad for business for anybody else who sells rampers either... Hell the shops here in Montreal can't keep the damn things in stock!

Somehow i think 15bps ramping on 3shot bursts is here to stay, not that it will do away with cheaters, but the general apathy of most manufacturers(wdp and planet excluded), and the desire of the paint companies to sell more bulletz, and the number of players who have embraced ramping will eventually win out.

Nice move however by WDP and Planet to force the MS to take a stand. Politics, conspericies or otherwise, it's a step towards doing SOMETHING, instead of the wall of silence.

What I heard from my teammates in the captains meeting: it was told that everything goes as in Germany...

So they will not test for ramping but it cannot be full auto either, so figure it out from that.

What WDP or Planet are doing I have no knowledge, I only hope my mates get the "right" software for my Speed from the techs...:D

There's a big big difference between slapping a warning on a product, and just issuing a press release sayign they might be dangerous.

Can you imagine if cigarette packets had no warnings, but Marlboro released a press release saying
"We're going to sell you cigarettes, even though we think they might cause terminal diseases"
