in other words we can't publicly say we advocate ramping but come see us and we as a company will give you the ability to do it............

Thats not what they say at all

They provide PSP ramping modes - presumably authorised under PSP rules.

What they are saying is that the MS are not specifically allowing ramping in their rules (the rules can be read to in such a way so as to infer it) so WDP are advising the owners of Angels (and everyone else out there thinking of using ramping) to run SEMI-ONLY capped to 15bps.

Not RAMPING!!

I applaude WDP for their advice.

Are the MS going to now explicitly name ramping in the rules?

Why have WDP said this the night before most teams will leave for DMA causing even more confusion/heat about the ramping issue?

Will it be the manufactures that change the minds of the Mill' Series?

Have they done this so they could make sure they get all the guns ramped before we leave? (do they charge? will they refund and flash with their capped version of ''semi auto''? i dont have an angel so i dont know if the 15 semi comes with the ramping)

They're just trying to have their cake and eat it to.

What we have here is a company that both manufactures a paintball marker AND owns a major pro paintball league.

They say that anything other than semi-auto mode is not safe for their league. Yet they also make guns with ramping modes. So which is it?

I didn't realise that WDP owned the NPPL.

Can you back that up?

Can you?

I mean, if you can, lets hear it. But if you can't, and the NPPL is not owned by WDP, and WDP don't have anything to do withNPPL rules, then your post loses all credibility...

WDP owns Pure Promotions.

Who actually writes the NPPL rules is left as an excercise for the reader.

(Note: When you pay the entry fee, the money goes to Britain.)

Chicago, your lack of understanding of the WDP/PP/NPPL relationship is clearly not good enough for you to post about it.

WDP owns Pure Promotions. WDP does not own the NPPL. The NPPL is responsible for the booking of teams, the rules, field lay-outs, the reffing, the scheduling, membership services, and a host of other things. They are an entity entirely separate from PP.

PP sets up the event, the logistics, the vendors area, the field construction, the cleaning, and the general running of an event outside of the needs of the teams.

The NPPL uses WDP's online credit card authorisation because it does not have its own. The NPPL, PP and WDP all share an office in HB. Much the same way that SmartParts and Sup-Air share a building. Its a matter of convenience.

PP is a separate company from WDP, although it is under the same ownership, is run entirely separately.

You see the entries processed through an english firm and you go making statements online aboutitwithout doing your home-work? What's that?

As for your veiws on the rules, who cares! Now that I have seen your ill-informed sensationalist colors flying, I will struggle to take anything you say seriously.

suggest you research your posts before making them public.

Saying 'WDP owns Pure Promotions' is hardly disclosing any secrets, but your previous post was, put simply, a load of bollocks and you should be ashamed of yourself. I thought you had more sense.

ps - was that your attempt at 'backing it up' then ?
