I think it was in '98 I punched a very sturdy wooden bunker after being bunkered, breaking my pinky knuckle completely off and also breaking the metacarpal-thingy-ma-whoozit that holds my ring-finger on. Had to get pins in my hand, and sit around taking happy pills for a bit 'til I healed up. And a couple weeks prior to Vegas (S7) I dislocated my shoulder while punishing another bunker with a rear elbow thrust. I was just in a sling for a bit, took some more pain pills and had some trouble with it wanting to keep popping out, but it's a lot better now.

The lesson is this: If you're going to throw a hissy-fit, save it for a Sup' Air field.

sweet, broke your finger off.
As a bad temepered borderline psychotic myself, I'm very impressed. I once punched the bathroom wall in a holiday home so hard, that I hit someone standing in the kitchen.

Normal length, the kitchen/bathroom partition wall was only three inches thick..... plaster board and plywood. We put a poster over it and no-one ever got back to us.

Ok here goes:

Waiting for 'Game On' down at the Temple site last year. Its a 7-man and there is a snake on the 50. So game on is screamed and off i go heading for the snake. As i dive over knee hits the snake and flips me slightly and instead of landing on my empty hand. My gun hand hits the ground, followed by my chin hitting my bottle. My gun goes flying out of bounds, nearly hitting a judge. I stand up, walk to the deadzone. Feeling that my elbow is num, i roll my sleeve up to notice swelling.

That would be a chipped elbow then mate - says the doctor

The lesson from this = buy some elbow pads and learn to dive into a snake properly

Playing at hilton park in the woods about 5 years ago , on the break out I was running to my key bunker just as I was getting there I realised I could take a futher position down the field. As I had not walked this part of the field I slid in as normal only to discover there was a 2" high small stump sticking out of the ground!! I stopped dead on the stump tearing my rear thigh muscle from the bone and popping my knee cap. I had my leg in a cage for 2 months and then went around on crutches for a further 3 months untill physio could get me walking again. That was about the last time I played in the woods.

Smart As A Carrot, went to toulouse in 2001, for the world cup.

Played the first day. Went out for a pizza on the night time, and had a argument with a french artic.lorry.
It killed the car we were in, and put two of us in the hospital.
The team had to withdraw from the rest of the competition, but not before we took on Robbo's team with only a couple of players!

Was a great time.(no one ended up dead!)
And still remember the cheerleaders!

Here's one for you. This is Rodney from Team Dynasty. My
worst paintball injury was during the 98" World Cup.
I was guesting for a team out of Canada. Personal Vendetta-
Mike Carey from Bob long's Ironmen was the Captain of this
team. We were in the last game of the preliminaries against
Nam Wrecking Crew on the Hyberball field. The layout of this
field was very similiar to the original WDP hyperball field
with two large obsticles in the center angled toward each other
and a sub on one tape and diamond on the other. As
we broke out off the break I ran all the way to our center
lay down shooting the player that tried to run me off the
break. We immediately went up 10 on 7 with-in the first minute
of the game. Both team tried to fill the sub but were eliminated.
9-6. I moved inside of the center tube to setup a take downto finish of the two players at my mirror. I took my eye off the sub for one second and Big Dave from Nam slid into the Sub. I was
really screwed where I was now. I backed up to the end of the pipe to get back to the out side of it to post up on dave as he was popping up over the sub now and had shot one of our players 8-6. As I backed out my left foot slipped slightly and I tore my MCL. If any one has ever done this you know that the pain would drop the tuffest guy out there. The Marshal came running over as he heard me scream in pain. At the same time Big Dave popped up over the Sub and shot me 4 times lucky for me they all bounced with the Marshal right there. He asked me if I wanted to leave the game and I said no. I moved myself into a position where I was sitting down posted on Dave. As he looked out to see if I was gone I shot him right between the eyes. 8-5
I rolled out from the back of the center and shot the next player in the shoulder 8-4. The game ended a few minutes after as we hung the flag. I was taken to the Hosiptal and had surgery
about 3-weeks later to repair my knee. I would never wish anyone knee injuries, they are the worst. I still have problems
to this day with cold weather and my knee.

Cheers
Rodney Squires

The only one I can think of was when I was playing up at 6E in a very very windy(!) training day and it was tipping it down and it was really cold, anyways....

I was hit on my already shaking hands and my finger must of swelled up almost twice its normal size and at first I thought I had broken my finger. After sitting out though for half hour I was back playing so I was either mad or stupid and I could hardly write for the next week :( .
