I went to see an occupational health specialist about some medical problems I've been having...... he said "I've checked your records, and I've found five quite serious head injuries, why didn't you mention these? as they may be relevant"
"well doctor, I've apparently had five quite serious head injuries, so I probably forgot".
True story. Also explains quite a lot to those who know me.

The worst injury I have ever seen sustained at LRP, happened a few years ago at a little event at Wooley Edge Scout Camp near Leeds.
A friend of mine, a Mr. Dave Ingham, whilst regaining his feet managed to...............

STAND ON HIS OWN LEFT TESTICLE

funniest thing in the world, poor bloke fell over and couldn't even tell us why.

It happened back in '89 when I was playign my first games. Face protection for paintball was not available here in Finland, and it was goggles only. We played in rocky area and as a newbie filled with adrenaline I jumped at every sound I heard. I heard a shot fired closed to me, ducked, slammed my face against a big rock and cracked my front tooth. It was painful.

After that it has been the usual, some knee and shoulder injuries.

Our capitan bust his leg last year.
Cleanly snapped his tibia and fibia, Apparently his foot was pointing the wrong way and the bone was pressed up against the skin pushing outwards!
Now has a permanent titanium plate and half a dozen screws holding his leg together, Cant run properly and has a strange gay limp when trying to run :)

Will get him to add the full story on here, but he has gotta be a contender :)
