That's one we can agree on Dave, :) but unfortunately it is no longer the world we live in.
My principle point all along has been that given the present circumstances competition among those offering national event series is the only way we're going to see the sort of consistent improvement that serves all players.

If people want to go with a scammer like Chuck and Scotty, then I feel sorry for them. There was never a time when people were saying,"WoW!! Look what the NPPL has done for us this year."

Instead it has been why do PSP prizes suck, why does the PSP reffing suck?

Why do the prizes suck ? Because Chuck and Scotty are slackers who are not doing their jobs. Scotty was thrown out of the Chicago tournament for throwing a chair at a member of another team. He is also in much debt to a certain paint company for thousands because he ordered paint on credit and then sold it and didn't pay his bill. Yeah, these are the people I want to give money to. :rolleyes

Why does the reffing suck? It is Chucks Job to make sure the reffing is done right. Him and WDP back Bill Cookston and the PRO reffing staff. I find it weird that Chucks team was reffing a event and all the complaints were at their biased reffing. By the way, good Job Lanche on making the finals. You guys probably earned it. Oh no, a member from another JT team was caught in the woods cheating and trying to ruin the event for a team owned by Jerry ? Sounds like conspiracy to me.

Go play in his new league and you will complain about the same old stuff.

Have fun playing Pro in that league btw. Anyone can be the pro champs in a league with crap teams.

Me? Im gonna go play Xball.

If the NPPL was so incompetent, why didn't the PSP just go their own way for the sake of the players?
You're obviously going to play the PSP events, and that's fine. Myself, I don't know who'll put forth the best events until they actually have them, but until the NPPL screws up independent of the PSP, how can you proclaim they will? It can be argued that Vegas was a PSP event independent of the NPPL, and I'll leave it at that.

Baca,

I agree with your statements about competition, it will make one or both or all 57 leagues better, quicker in theory. Either that or it will pull the sponsors and teams all over creation and make 27 small scetchy events a week. I'm not sure which will happen, but I hope the events get better, as they have been in the past year or so.

Has anyone stated officially where they're

playing yet?

We heard that Lockout was definitely going NPPL.

Mind you, we also heard that Bad Company is 100% definitely playing NPPL from one source, and 100% playing X-Ball from another...

Mark, that statement wasn't directed at you. It was a public service message where I was voicing my opinion.
I'm sure your opinion will serve a lot of people. Forgive my response, I assumed that since most posts on here get responses from unintended sources, yours was no different. I intend no flame here. Peace out!

To that one guy (bob or whoever it was);
Jim Murray isn't doing any recruiting on behalf of Adrenalin. If GZ players come to play, its because they approached me and were interested in playing for the "other" New York team it seems we are now. I'm not chasing GZ players and neither is Jimmy.

Also, just to correct another misstatement of yours. We did make the cut at world cup (5th in prelims) and then we missed the finals cut by 1 game after beating Check-It in the first semi match.

Peace,
James

James,

Don't take anything that bobvannes has to say to heart or whatever, he spends a better part of his life running his mouth(or fingers I guess) about teams that he knows nothing about other than the scores he reads on the net. He's too embarrassed to say who he plays for, or what his name is, and my guess is he's also afraid that we'll be able to find his name on the national sex offender database.

So ignore him, and his rantings, if you want, I've decided to take the low road and make fun of him instead.
