i have a question football fans......in that type of format if they allow ties and such how do they decide which teams get to move on to the next round?


Yank Football is so much easier to understand and there's always a winner...if there's a tie they do sudden death gotta love a sport that has sudden death..


Which team did you play for buddha3? curiosity is killing me. It would be ironic if you played for the vikings.

Women fold always flock around such physical sports and those that compete at top levels in them.

Face it, you couldn't resist posting because you are just trying to attract our attention.

There can only be two reasons to post:-

1) to join the conversation

2) to make people notice you (even if hiding behind a fake attack)

I think maybe you should find somewhere else to try and pull

OOOh meow!! Sadly grossly wrong though m8! I work at a paintball site & i play paintball..... I don't 'hang around' I am involved in paintball cos i love the sport...it just pisses me off when people of one gender or another adopt a particular sport as belonging to them exclusively...sure there are less female players but it doesn't make the ones that do choose to be involved in the sport, for their love of it, less valuable than the guys. Secondly I really have no need to feel 'noticed' as you put it as i am quite content with myself as i am. Thirdly, you remark about trying to 'pull' confirms what i already thought...the stereotypical footie lager lout who assumes all women are looking for one thing and ready to fall at their feet!!! Wrong again pal...happily married with 2 kids!! Anyway worth reading your post for pure entertainment value...Love from one of the chicks...who is in paintball for the love of paintball...not egotistical guys who play it. XXX

I agree 100% which is why I was one of the few people who helped coach a womens team in Rugby back when I was at Uni. Everyone else scoffed, I stepped up and took the team to the top 16 in the country.

I believe Paintball is a sport where all sexes can compete on equal terms, I could even argue feminine attributes to be an advantage in many areas (reactions, size, frontal padding...)

Where did anyone try and adopt this sport for their gender only? There was just a lot of guys having a tongue in cheek laugh with each other where did anyone try and reduce the value of female players? Why even step in with such comments, into what was a fun lighthearted thread?

You stepped into the post and therefore became fair game! I was posting purely about your reasons for joining the post after your first attack on us, I was not posting about your reasons for being involved in paintball. And my post was in continuation of the silly form of the thread in reply to your comments...

I'm all in favour of more women in this and all sports.

I just have a sarcastic sense of humour and it's hard to portray that in writing. I also hate it when people try and point out prejudice where there is none.

Sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder. Not needed.

I'm not actually a football fan. Nor do I usually drink lager. And I am definitely not a lout I was just having friendly banter. Feel free to be part of that but no need to get all high and mighty about it or offensive/defensive.
