Urban Jungle on the south side of glasgow has an inflatable mega-arena with a small field inside.

Although only a side field for the main rec field, rec walkons will be starting soon. you may be able to use the sup'air field then, or possibly even at otehr times.

i phone them today, no one from the paintball part where in so ive to give them a call back tommorow.

ill try and get it for wednesday or thursday evening and ill ask them about prices and stuff tommorow.

well if we want to go we have to buy their paint at 7 quid per 100 and due to insurance we cant get air filled.

so yeh doesnt really look like ill be going any time soon.

I think we can all pretty much give up on this place.

It is a real shame that this has happened, Scotland has had jack in regards to a tournament site for years and years then all of a sudden some guy with a load of cash sees the world cup in Florida comes back and builds one of the best fields in Europe aimed at the general public running around with site guns at £7 per 100 paintballs and is not willing to let people train on it with a BYO policy or even lowered costs on paint.

I can 100% understand the business case behind the paint prices for the public, but to not even be willing to open your eyes and see the bigger picture in terms of what could be acheived at this site is just silly.

£140 a box for people who have guns who can shoot 15+ bps.....

This is just another classic case of someone trying to get a bigger piece of the pie instead of making the pie bigger... its decisions like this that hold the sport back and stop it growing.

Like I said a real shame but never mind eh.... lets just send someone else with a lot of cash to the next world cup in Florida and keep our fingers crossed eh!

Can you not approach him and ask if you can hire the field off him when he's not using it for the punters. Surely he's not busy every night of the week and it may be better to set a meeting up with him face to face and a few of you go down to the meeting.

If it's that good, you will tell someone who tells someone else, teams go to his placeand therfore he is getting free advertising which isn't a bad thing and not something he may be aware of and once you have spoken to him and shown him the passion you have for the sport he may change his mind...If not, forget it
