you could get a train from edinburgh to glasgow central or queen street then from there get a train to clarkston after that its either a 10 minute walk or someone heading there could pick you up.

it is primarily rec/scenario but if you gys specifically want the mega arena up then you'll need to clear it in advance with site.
easiest way to do that is either drop Tony a PM on www.scottishwarriors.co.uk or phone them on 0778 846 1539 and speak to Tony or Gaz.
there is a field set up as a speedball field with a mix of hard and air bunkers too.
