this has probably been answerd but i may of missed it, (i love the idea btw),i knwo if you run out of paint/air then you must leave the field to refill etc - but if your hit does the same apply? leave the field wipe down then come back on?

yup, respawn players in order to keep 5 on the field at all times. so no more 30 second games boys and girls. everyone plays the full length of the game. you'll just spend a couple of minutes in the respawn box over the course of the game.

For any reason if you leave the field its a point to the other team you can come back on after cleaning shots off or reloading but it far easier to send a new player in while you are doing this and because trust me you will be exhausted as your team mates are calling for you to run off the field so they can get on . I must say this format is the first time i have ever seen players from thier own team calling and hurring for thier eliminated player to get off the field .

If you run out of paint/air do you have to go out straight away or can you make a mad run for the buzzer? your goin out anyway might aswell get shot trying to hit the buzzer

A couple of your questions answered guys...

1. Yes this will be a series next year and it will be held in a full size stadium with many facilities including;
- fish and chip shop
- bar
- restaurant
- tea stalls
- showers
- managed toilets

2. Paint - we have worked out an average of about 1 box per player, per event cheapies!!

3. You can bring your own paint or paint will be available for purchase on site.

4. The date of the first event is the 16th August

cool I thought it might be as I guess here eliminations are not really the key factor..... its domination and control of the center field. Sounds like fun

It was alot of fun. It was different sort of fun I get from Xball and probably because it was such a different way of playing paintball. Although with all the Xball bunkers, your brain is tricked into thinking Xball (if you are used to that) so you really have to check yourself on what you are doing. Its so easy to just run out of paint and or air.
