you have obviously never met our team! were just discovering this 'running' thing!

i personally prefere tru semi uncapped. i still hit atleast 18bps.
i really wanna get my team in this event, i think it would suit us. just gotta check availability. is this a one off or will it become monthly?
Sorry I didnt explain properly, there are no gun rules at all. Use what you want. If you run out of paint, then your team score suffers :)

Plus also, 18bps..... I dont think so bud!

this looks good as a spectator sport. Maybe a rof cap to fall in with the current rules, but other than that looks great.

I attended both the tryouts and i must say i thought the concept was a great way to go it addresses so many issues and a lot of thought had gone into it.
Personally i used my gun at 15 bps ramping some others may had had their guns shooting faster but at no point were there any complaints from anyone about overshooting because the format itself limits your gun if you go out blazing at 18 bps all that will happen is you will run out of paint and have to go back through start gate giving the other team points .
This works very well especially as the velocity limit meant most people were going out at 270 to make sure they were not over 280fps point being rate of fire was not a problem and the lower fps made it easier to move .
The other thing i noticed was cheating via playing on was almost non existent as when you get hit its far easier to get a fresh player on the field than to get penalized for playing on.
All in all this was fun to play and very tiring as your team mates are actually hurrying you to get off the field so they can get on prepare to be exhausted after 2 to 3 games.
Everyone was given a sheet of paper explaining rules and the whole concept i thinki still have mine i will scan it and post it here.

read the first page

280 feet per second
unlimited rate of fire

cant make it any more clear than that
Ive already seen it bud, :)
Most guns with the right hopper feeding can achieve 25bps. Say 1 team shoots out 4 players on opposing team. It would take those 4 players a minute to clean down and re-spawn. The thoughts of having all 5 guns ramping @ 25bps on the remaining 1 guy seems a bit insane wouldnt you agree. It may not happen, but theres the chance it could.
Deffinately, this format sounds very interesting to play.

Could this be the UFC of paintball:D

if such a situation were to occure, i agree that would be far to much, however, as soon as one guy is back, another is out while he cleans down, so that last guy wouldent be alone for long, plus, they they were all ramping like that, they would soon run out of paint, meaning they would all be having to go back around the same time, so both teams would be back on level terms in that sens, plus they would have a penelty, so in the long run the other team would be ahead... i think :D

im sure once they have had a few tornys they would amend the rules if there were problems
