I've got a new proposal for the government....... instead of giving them tax, could we not just be "given" a set number of students/asylum seekers and unemployed people every Monday morning? we could give them the money directly and treat them as indentured servants for the week.......... be pretty cool and would put some civil servants out of work and I'd own some of them too.
It'd be great, I'd get a sedan chair and make them carry me to work............ I've worked it out and I'd get four, so one for each corner.

WOW!!! i find that so true! ive made so many friends playing paintball! ive been playing since november and my friends have basically doubled! and ive got a lot of friends!

and joseh the sedan chair with the servants was really funny! i'd have a huge one, four servants one on each corner and a couple running along the side feeding grapes into my mouth!

ladies love kewl kid
well, my story:
yesterday i had a nice chat with three young ladys at a bar after work. i told them that im away over easter(going to bitburg) and they asked what i'll be doing there.sooooooooooo, its my time then:D as i love to talk about paintball nearly as much as playing it. so i get out an issue of pgi from my rucksack and showed them what it was all about. the two good looking ones where like" ohhh, the chaps are looking pretty cool", "wow, that looks great", and: "are there women playing also?yes? coooooooooool"
what i liked mostly was the question: " does it hurt?"
the ugly one turned away and was like: " its a wargame!it is! it is!":D
i just said nothing;) (after telling her 2 times it's NOT!)

I agree, I find it soooo annoying when people go on about it being a war game, all i say is "try it yourself then have a look" I've had stupid excuses like "no way its far to barbaric!" i mean, what the hell!
I was also playing scenario the other day, it was an ammo waster game when u just keep getting hit, and a girl was clinging onto me saying I want to get off! it was funny coz she thought i worked there she soon found i was just a regular!

Sorry for the Essay!

Luke

Just like that old Nazareth song, "Love Hurts." :)

Hey Bacs, that sort of 'luurrrve' I can well do without mate :)

It does seem to be a peculiarly English trait that we genuinely do wish bad upon our peers, I am talking specifically about Brit pro teams here and not Ams or Novices.
The Yank pros do support each other in some cases, and I am talking about peer group support here.

After you cut through all the bullcr@p we see on here, the truth of the matter is, the Brit pro teams would rather their peers fail than succeed.
I mean, if Brit pro team A and Brit Pro Team B are playing in the same tourney and Team A happens to qualify for the next round, team B would rather team A loses every single game and would rather see any other nationality beat them.
And before anybody comes on here telling me it ain't this way, well don't waste your breath with any idealistic, insipid, fictionalised accounts of Brit paintball reality.
It is what it is and I know people are gonna crawl outa the woodwork telling us all, ‘Nooo u got it all wrong Pete, we all love each other, we respect each other, we want the other Brit teams to do well if we fail….’ Bull ‘frikkin’ sh!t

This only really applies to Brit pros, I can't really speak for the Ams.
I will however make one genuine exception to this, Twizz.
He is probably the only guy who genuinely wishes his peers success, no matter what the circumstances....unless of course you are playing against his team which is kool.

But I have to say, the Brit Am and Novice teams and players are genuinely supportive of any Brit Pro team who does well which is encouraging, it just takes the rest of us on pro teams to ironically learn from them :)
