the thing is its the same as every gun. If you set it up right, it'll run all day.

For example a few years ago when LCD angels came out, everyone, and I mean everyone set em up to the highest bps, and then complained about chopping , and we were all using revvys.

My gun doesn't chop paint, but lend it to someone else, and they fiddle with it (oo-er) and it'll chop with the best. You have to know your gun and set it up properly.

Like what Tom?

Why would they build better markers for Dynasty and not make them available to the paying punter?

People will pay anything for the 'best' so I don't think SP would hold anything revolutionary back....or would they?

That's a bit naive................ To cheat..........To gain an advantage...............To win................What else, we are talking about SP, here.

The shocker is a cheap marker, relative to other tournament ready markers, with cost comes quality. Remember the stella artois advert, "reassuringly expensive".

Manufacturing high quality products is an expensive business, machining time doesn't come cheap, without any physical differences, i expect Dynasty's shockers are far better quality than the off the shelf shocker.

I've worked for companies that go the extra bit for the works gear, even to the level of illegality.

Well, SP payed a feck load for the best team in the world, so maybe Dynasty just played better? I just don't believe that the marker will make that much difference.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of SP but let's not turn this into an X files episode just because they are shooting a different marker than last year.

Edit: just read your next post and your latest point makes more sense :) especially considering manufacturing standards, I've seen a couple of Freak barrel sets that were more than a bit bogus!

Still think they would have won with off the shelf shockers though...

Well done to Dynasty, no one can deny their skill and commitment, and sp for paying the price to be in with the best, but it's the marker that's in question here, not Dynasty. I feel they would win with any top end marker.

One point to think about, with sp patents controlling the usa paintball market place, should european teams split from the american scene and form a new league solely for european teams.
