why would you find it funny?
it's a known problem if the gun,

unless 800 shots from a 68 ci 4500 psi system is efficient.

If i had to guess, i'd say the killers will be shooting shockers, and the paint chuckers will be shooting tooled up impulses, at least until somebody sorts out the bolt of the shocker.

have a look at their loaders...

apparently (after reading their press release more carefully did i realise...) they have signed the deal to all shoot a custom version of the markers, so Smart parts must be pretty confident that the new shocker will be up to the task.
Rumor has it that Evolve and a few others are working on new bolts, maybe the shocker will be the gun to have in 2004?

Planet Piper away from you freaks!
Guys

Just a thought here. The press release has not been done yet, so we have no idea what they are shooting yet. They are using SP guns that we know, but whichone is still not known.

So before we hang them out to dry, let someone from Dynasty say why they have done it etc.

I mean good luck to them all, they want to be Pro's and now have made the right step to that status...... :D

the press release:
Smart Parts, Inc. is pleased to announce the signing of Team Dynasty to its growing roster of elite professional paintball teams. Team Dynasty is the NPPL Champion as well as the Millennium Series and World Points Series Champion two years running. They join two other Smart Parts championship teams: the 2003 NXL Champion Philadelphia Americans and the PSP Pro Champion team strange. Team Dynasty has chosen to endorse a Private Label Shocker
SFT, The Freak barrel system and the Max-Flo line of air systems.

November 26, 2003.

In an agreement that was finalized yesterday afternoon, Smart Parts will
sponsor Team Dynasty for the 2004 season and retain the option to extend the
contract for the 2005 season. Fans of the new X-ball paintball format should
look forward to seeing Dynasty participate in no less than four PSP Series
events while most likely maintaining their NPPL and Millennium Series
schedules.

Team Dynasty also provided us with the following statement.

Shock the world.

Two-time triple crown champions, Team Dynasty, have recently decided to take
on Smart Parts as a major sponsor for the 2004 season. Smart Parts, in
cooperation with Dynasty, is developing a Dynasty edition Shocker customized
to enhance the performance of the best team in the world. The Dynasty
Shocker will be exclusively designed by Team Dynasty to fit their exacting
and demanding specifications.

The Shocker, being the lightest and least cumbersome marker available, will
give any player an edge. Team Dynasty, a step ahead of the rest, hopes to
see this marker available to the general public very soon.

Adam Gardner added, "We are very pleased to add Team Dynasty to the Smart
Parts family. They have some of the most talented paintball players in the
world and their record over the past few years speaks for itself. These guys
have chosen to devote their lives entirely to paintball. It means a lot to
me that they have chosen to team-up with Smart Parts."

apparently stait from Alex:

"Regarding Angel vs. Shocker, we have felt that our team has been at a disadvantage this year because the Angel has not performed as well as the competitive markers. However our skill level has saved us. Our requests to WDP for improvements has fallen upon deaf ears. Their response was that their markers are good enough, but WDP weren't the players on the front lines. We did not truly appreciate the significant difference between the Angel and Shocker until we actually used the Shocker. We feel that when the Dynasty design modifications are incorporated it will advance our level of performance even more."

Wait there is more from Ken Crane:

"not to dis alex becuse we have worked together for the last 3 years but the problem is that wdp would not let them use cheat boards.other teams are using boards in their guns that allow for more than 1 ball per trigger pull.wdp made a decission to play the game straight up,thats the way it is.we were not allowed to service their guns once the w.a.s boards were being tested by dynasty.i am not saying that they wanted to cheat, but to keep up with the others that were using lets say not totaly above board equipment it was hard to swallow.wdp uses an optical trigger that only allows for 1 ball per trigger pull.the other manufactures use trigger bounce to achieve multiple balls per pull.when a trigger bounces inside the switch the board records the strongest signals within that pull and counts them as multiple pulls and then releases them as multiple shots.sound fair? hmmmmm.....

this might come back to bite me in the ass but... "

Mmmmm the mudslinging started

Larger than life
Let him who is without sin toss the first pie.. I have a feeling this is going to be nasty if they keep it public..

About bolts for Shocker: I understand that there are bolts out there that gives you better mileage with the Shocker, but they are not made by SP are they? Are Dynasty allowed to use them with the new sponsorship agreement?

That's pathetic.
He didn't say that, he said there would be boo's. You're distorting Dark's post.

I don't think it was meant in the spirit you are imagining Buddha...
