Isn't that almost the same as racism? Nobody chooses where they are born. That statement is downright offensive.
Maybe you should read and understand the whole of both posts, put them in context and address your statement in the right direction

Maybe it's just Buddha and me. First it sounded like Dynasty should be booed 'cause they are no longer using a British marker.

Then it looked like you were saying that it's o.k. to boo them 'cause they're American.

Sorry if we misread you.

I guess you meant spectators booing because they wanted the other team to win?

Whatever.

Franchises

My understanding of the NXL is that no one organization can own two franchises, hence a Smart Parts franchise for Dynasty would be out of the question, and Dynasty playing the NXL similarly so (Smart Parts is not going to give them the amount they did only for the team to become JT's representative in the NXL).

would JT even want a franchise? they would have had the chance surely being one of the biggest companies in the world, and chose instead along with Kingman to back the NPPL Super 7 Series. Would JT even have the resources to back both the NPPL and have an NXL franchise? I would imagine that Richmond went to JT about having Dynasty as their franchise originally right? for whatever reason JT turned it down, i doubt the NXL franchise owners are going to let them in now bearing in mind that they were not prepared to take the risk at the beginning for whatever reason.

K2 owns Brass Eagle, Brass Eagle owns JT and therefore the NXL would welcome any franchise interest from the holding company.
The expansion of the league at the moment is important because it will be the sale of those franchises that will help underwrite at least some of the expenses the NXL members will incur next year.
No revenue streams are gonna be initiated until such time as filming begins, until then all attendant expenses are being met out of their own pockets.

Oh yeah, congrats to Dynasty for signing such a killer deal. Forget all the haters that are saying you are sellouts, etc. These people, if that position, they'd most likely follow the same course. Do you: A. Stick with a company that has supported you through the years and at the same time has made a TON of money off your name, but will not up the anty. or B. Go with a company that is willing to take a risk by signing you for a large amount of money and is making sure you can continue to play ball to the best of your abilities. From what I know of the Dynasty kids they want to be the at the top for a long time to come and they have taken the steps to insure that will happen (incorporating the team, hiring a sports agent, sign the biggest deal ever in paintball) and they are also paving the way for all the other professionaly ran teams out there. It's cool to see a young group of guys look outside of the box and push things beyond what has been done in the past. This is the future of the sport! To all the people disappointed that Dynasty no longer shoots an Angel, get over it and go buy a Dynasty Shocker, hehe :)

That entire view of the situation is exactly the problem here that's raised several problems this year alone and potentially worse effects down the road. There are serious potential consequences to this that they probably didn't even stop for a second to think about. It hovers somewhere between myopia and blatant irresponsibility.

That none of the top guys have identified or addressed such potential nightmares is a little strange and a touch scary to me...
