I think this has been done to death before......I might just use the search facility and see if I can unearth the gem of a picture I recall on the previous thread

Nope, haven't owned a drop forward since I began playing (and this was about 6 years ago when all the "cool" people were using 'em), and I personally have always felt more comfortable with a straight "duckbill" style bottomline or rail. But just because I don't like them, I don't feel the need to go to public forums, give myself a self-suck and tell everybody who does use them how stupid they are. In the last couple years, since the drop forward went out of vogue, there's been about 10 million threads from 10 million of the "aggest", coolest, smartest legends-in-their-own-mind telling everybody else how they should set up their gear. Everybody gets it already, alright? You're an almighty pro, and you (and subsequently all your screaming 12 year old fanboys from PBnation who find it impressive) don't use a drop, so therefore everybody should emulate your magnificence and do likewise, or else they're suckass wannabes. The ideas are correct but the delivery is disrespectful and comes from some one who, even with no drop on his gun, has failed to set the Paintball world alight.

The ironic part to all this is that it's not even come from Fi$h in that he was told the reasons why not to use them when he first joined Nexus and I had to sit down and explain to him and a few others why he and others shouldn't use them and then make them take the drop forwards off their markers.
I mean Fi$h, if you are gonna come on here and give it the Billy Big'un to us here Englanders, at least try and do it with some of yer own material mate
