Does anyone actually work out?

I am just wondering that question. I have no other option because I go to a military Academy (can you guess which one :p ?). I find that it really helps on break outs when I can out sprint the whole other team, I can run longer, and not worry about getting winded. I guess this is for the tournie players. Latah.

I am training now for our 2002 season. I am not a Pro but I found out last year in 5 man it was nice to be able to sprint to my bunker without being winded. It is always nice to be 31yrs young and out sprint the young guys! I am working on 2 miles a day running and lifting 3 days a week. And ummm I work for the same Company as your academy!LOL

Rooster: Hell yeah, I was prior enlisted before I got to this hell hole. I swear I won't be one of those Academy Lts ;) As for your team, I might be swinging out to London this summer. Maybe I can catch a game with you. We'll show those out of shape Brits how us military folk do it. :D

You mean wait around until someone tells you what to do?

:D

Just kidding bro!
Yeah I work out, yeah I train on my speed. The speed thing is handy, but if truth be known, I have to say that the weightlifting thing is actually counterproductive to my staying tight skills. I find it really hard to wrap my arm around my airtank, because of my enormous bulging biceps......It's not always good to have the body of a Greek god. :D

That was a joke too.

Sh*t, I'm on fire today.

I recommend a martial art or two . . . keeps you trim and used to bursts of high energy activity. Plus if some newbie opens fire on you at point blank range and suddenly discovers that return fire hurts, you're more or less covered if he tries and hits you with his gas bottle. ;)

Now if only origami qualified as a martial art, I'd be well in . . .

As a back player, I was taught the only training I should do was eating :p
In fact, I thought it was against the rules for backs to work out or be fit!:D :D :D
