Paintballers will always find something to complain about :)

I think though when a division only plays itself you would just break up the teams into different brackets. If you use the "snake" technique to layout the teams into the brackets then each team should play a similiar spread of teams, this is how it's done in the XPSL. Then the top number of teams from each bracket move on to the next level of play. The only sticky point is when the number of teams does not evenly distribute into brackets or when there is a wildcard spot.

Anyway in case anyone thought I was complaining about our draw, I'm not, it's looks fine to me and we would of had to play a difficult team either way, I was more interested in the reason for it being different.

Inter-divisional play is where it's at!! There's nothing more agg than squarting off against the best teams in the world. You can play and practise against Joe Bobs Goober Patrol all you want, but you will never get the same intensity and zero margin of error as you get when you play the pros. Sure it may cost some point, but the experience is invaluable. Besides how many people remember the score of Joe Bob and crew versus The Smarmy Ferrets. Everybody remembers the Smarmy Ferrets beating Pro Team X. Go Ferrets!!!
