Ah, but does it? How many players and teams and sponsors have been hanging on for that TV deal?

What's the alternative though? Leave the NXL, and go to the NPPL? Hardly with the Pros locked down, and the Semi-Pros with one event under their belt.

Perhaps there will be some mad scrable to salvage things. But I'd hazard a guess there will be some broken bridges if this is true. Interesting times...
