Marshalling
I pulled a guy for a shot on the inside of his barrel. I did not see it hit, but the players shooting him was calling it out to me. I ran over, and the guy had blue paint on the inside and tip of his barrel. I asked him what colour he was shooting as it could easily have been a barrel break. When he said he was shooting Yellow i pulled him out. Two people on the sidelines said it was one of the best pieces of judging they had ever seen. The eliminated player even commended me after the game. So players can be pulled for barrel hits mate, even on the tip/inside if the judge knows what he is doing.
Marshalling by the rules was exactly what we did, and i was impressed with all the Campaign guys, they were awesome. It didnt matter who they were, they were judged equally.Originally posted by pbsmoker
Sunday was an example of the marshalls actually following the rules to a T which is rare. Calling people out for hits on the end of a barrell, or on a piece of air hose that in my opinion couldnt be known from a hit or rub against a bunker.
