A 'regulars' forum would be a fairly good idea, just make it hidden to people who down have enough posts or something.

Nah, that would make the whole thing a bit elitist, in my opinion. These forums should be open to everybody. I mean, we even let Manning be a mod, that's got to say something about how low our threshold is.

...if the "Speak Your Brains" forum is not a Free-for-All forum, then what is??? I mean come on...there is a "stated forum" for every other category under the sun...recball, tournament, technical, etc.
Manning, it's all cool btween us, my friend. It's nothing against you (I know you know that)...I know you're sticking to a protocol of what you think is right/necessary. I just disagree. The occasional spoof threads are popular, they're fun, and they're not the ones that get out of hand. There are MAYBE one or two other than the poodle thread on the first loading page...and in any other forum (the "more serious" ones) I would understand the "need" to close 'em. But I don't understand that here.
But oh well. Lotsa love to all, regardless.

P.S. If not for 'Brains where would threads like "Class Wars" and "The Direction of Paintball" go? I see 'Brains as the part of p8ntballer for newbies to mingle with the pro's and chatter about all things paintball. Theres plenty of grey in between our categories, and here's where it lands... if you need any more proof of that, see how huge 'Brains is compared to the others. I know, different subject, but similar. Take care.
Hey, Justin, I know you aren't after me, it's all cool. I completely understand what you're saying, and it makes sense. I do disagree with you though, you guys have no idea how much stuff gets cut off the forum. This surely seems like a non-issue to most of you because you don't see how much stuff we do delete. It doesn't get out of hand because we don't let it. It only takes a couple non-paintball threads to get it all going, and I have to say this to Teej as well, you simply can't say that one silly thread can stay over another, it HAS to be all or nothing. I vote paintball threads, that's why this forum is here, outside stuff can be done off the forum. I remember the way 'Brains has looked in the past, paintball stuff was easily the minority, and I do think it ran off some good discussions, and a few posters, because it was basically the 'Romper Room'.

I think I'll have to invent a new term to describe the political system prevalent amongst the moderators on this board as regards closing threads (or not)
