Actually, Gee's are BOTH worst things.
Modesty prevents me from mentioning the best thing  but other good things are: best site for an intelligent conversation or debate; an actual international pball website despite it's heavy UK posters character at present. No other forums get so many ballers from as many different places

Worsts--could probably use a few more focused forum categories to encourage more contributions from far flung locales

Oh, and Bud is right, too.

Agree on the Gee first thing, although it's reassuring that the odd yank would prefer to be English!

I like the focused forum thing - what you thinking about, members only, iq-linked (do they have IQs in the US?)? What would you suggest?

I tell you what, it warms me old cockles when I read a thread where a yank and a german are arguing with a Brit and a Scandy, despite the posts of the French and the Zealands and er, er, oh yeah and Manike.

What I hate most is the English who think this is an English site.

Actually much simpler. More specific Forums to encourage visitors and new members to get involved. I'd start by dividing the Tournament Forum into two forums; one North America, one for every place else. Given the relative number of players it's probably a fair separation. Then I'd relax the rules for posting to tourney so it begins to look like it used to. However, that would require a different forum for general pball discussions--Speak your Brains, and move most of "Speak" to a new forum; 'Mindless Blather.' ;) There's a start.

I'd hate to see such a separation.
Even though I don't play in the NPPL/PSP/ABC/CNN/NBC, I like reading about them. A lot of things that happen there can directly or indirectly influence what happens here. I like reading the views that some of the Euros have on the antics going on Stateside. I think if there would be separate sections, we'd see a whole lot less of that. And that would be a loss, I think.

It's not like I'm suggesting you foreign types be excluded. No reason anyone interested should be excluded. I just think more specific categories might prove, oddly enuf, to be more inclusive and inviting.

I'm still not convinced Paul.
I still hate to see such a divide, and in spite of all good intentions of some people, I am certain it will not generate the same level of "intercontinental" view points that we get now.
Look at some of the other forums around, it'll be a classical case of can't see the woods for the trees.
And that would be acrying shame, because at the moment I feel that Tournament is really a good part of the forums to check out if you want to stay on point.
