Now, with this statement, I totally agree with you.

However, your initial post of 'right idea, wrong place' doesn't hold any water at all.

So, shall we agree that there was nothing wrong with the location of 2007's event, just that it was poorly managed for the general public to gain access?

Taking into account what both of you have said....I agree it was a good location, with a decent level of exposure, however I distinctly remember driving down the A127 all the way too the venue, and I didn't see one advertisement for the paintball event at all!
If it had been fliered, just like with the NEC generating a bit more interested from the general public, more people would have been aware there was a paintball event and not a fair.
