I would appreciate some opinions about how to handle field designs for Campaign Cup. Should we go with the Philadelphia design which will be used next week by PSP and NXL or should we do our own unique design that will be a surprise to everyone on Thursday at Campaign? Or should we publish our own design as soon as possible? The teams who will have played that design in a tournament, including the two NXL that are signed up to play in Open X Ball, will have a significant advantage in my opinion.
Also, should Russian Legion and Philly Americans be allowed to play the exact field design in an exhibition game before the tournament or should we make some small modifications for that game?

here is what you do, you design your own field thats is unique to Campaign....
....but still release the design b4 the event.
this way EXL teams will be able to train on it for the same amount of time as the yanks coming over (thinking of the RL v Philly game)....oh and open X

Make your own design so that all open x-ball teams have the same fair chance.
Do as you said with the RL/Philly game, change the layout completely but let the open x-ball field be up so that EXL teams can walk that one or let the game be played on the open x, whichever suits you the best.
