Actually if we are gonna compare it to Sk8, snowboard vids i think that this DVD is miles ahead of them(at this stage of evolution) I've been watching those kinda vids for 12 years easy and the first ones were pants in comparison to this(still watched them though) The production and all that goes with it is very slick(and i'm quite well aware of the time and effort that goes in making a disc, i've been selling them for quite a few years now) so i have no arguement with that side of things.
Its just not what i was expecting, thats all. And i'm sure Niall doesn't hold that against me, Especially as it's only myself and Famine that have been a bit negative.Everyone else loves it. All it shows is that people aren't the same and like different things. i'm just in the minority here.

Anything more than f*ck? That made me laugh :)

Don't be so dismissive about what I said about classification. Go here http://www.bbfc.co.uk/ it's not got a great deal on the subject but it does say this:

From the BBFF website
Do DVDs have to be classified?

Yes. The Video Recordings Act requires that all elements present on a DVD (or video) must be classified. This includes not only the main feature but also any 'extras', such as trailers, deleted scenes and other special features. If a film has been classified for video release, then there is no need for the film itself to be resubmitted for DVD classification, provided that the DVD version is identical to that released on video. However, if the version of the film intended for DVD differs in any way (eg a widescreen version), then it must be resubmitted
I'm not looking to tell you what's what but I'd suggest you give the BBFC a quick call mate.

Being a sports film it may be classified E(exempt) but it's the BBFC that'll tell you.I've had dealings with the BBFC before and they ain't worth toying with, they carry quite a punch if upset.

i have read all these posts and i now have to say my piece.
the dvd was great, it shows to the world, and hopefully the sports council that we are here and we will do anything, the dvd shows to non ballers what type of people we are, after watching shockwave vs GZ you can see that US ballers are very strong is their desire to be the best, where the brits will are more relaxed. a paraphrase from GZ "we are the best, we will win, we're ready, y'all ready" paraphrase the brits "are you ready""yes".
the dvd is a way of showing people what it is really like, i would say that it isn't really for ballers as there is not enough games but ballers listen...

if a non player sees this and decides to play (s)he will go to a rec day probably and buy paint, this gives money to the suppliers, who give teams cheaper paint, therefore more people who try paintball = more money = cheaper tourney costs.

the dvd shows everyone what the tourney was like, i am a baller, i liked it, i would like to see more games but if niall says that 900hours were boring then so be it, he has been in paintball a long time and knows what is intereting.

also the NTV scenes were great.

Lol

Dont even bother Niall. If someone isnt happy with it, fine!
Cant please all the people all the time.

Its not like its 100 good paintball videos out there is it?
So if Niall put in this amount of job to do one, why not give the man the credit he deserve?

And if you had opinions of how to do it better why not tell him with a email instead of talking crap on the internet about the dvd?

If it sells good maybe someone else will do more paintball videos, GET IT??

Ps Piper still have stolen my money!!

Time to resurrect the beast

So has anyone (international here) who has been trying to get hold of Court TV via email had any luck? I've been emailing the address that Niall gave (ralston@glassnet.com) for the last few weeks and so far no luck/response/anything.

Niall - if you read this can you drop me an email with the contact phone number for this crowd so those who are not in Europe can look to order copies? My email address is dannefaerd@paradise.net.nz.

Cheers
Martin
