As i dont know what happened exactly, my opinion probably doesn't count for a lot, however from reading what has been said, this guy has lost the respect and trust from all his fellow peers, and when were talking about equipment worth this amount of money then that trust probably will not come back, i would personally leave the status as it is...sorry or not, its one less thief off the playing field and out of the community.....again though i misses the thread in question, if it still exists can anyone link me to it?

Personally, i think breakwell has an attitude problem more than anything.
Where there is a community, there has to be some mutual respect, and this respect goes both ways.
breakwell showed no respect whatsoever.
Reading what he has wrote above, whatever circumstances happens in your life, you do not go about however you wish and dick people around, so any excuse is bull****.

However, i myself have given a second chance in life, as im sure many others here have too, and we can all turn into a very happy chappy if we all start seeing sense.
There is a possibility he has taken some time out, given some thought and to actually step into the real world.

I think by his actions and the resulting response, this has highlighted not just to him BUT anybody else entering/playing in the sport of paintball that as a community we have some of the most genuine, friendly, helpful and trustworthy people.

If trust is breached within this closely knit community then the will ALWAYS be consequences. We will not tolerate anybody who does not maintain these standards.

I don't think anyone can say they are perfect and if you want to redeem yourself, it starts with admitting you are wrong and apologizing, which he has done.

Due purely to his age, hopefully he has learned a very valuable life lesson and knows what behavior is expected and should be given a second chance.

i doupt he is going to uni as for one he isnt old enough and i think he dropped out of school :/ but if he really wants to get back into the sport and he is truly sorry about what happened he still deserves a ban so at least to the end of the season. if not longer

He had many an opportunity to apologise and do the right thing whilst this whole sorry saga was going on but yet he made himself out to be the innocent victim on several occasions and then suddenly after a couple of months of inactivity and only now realising what his little scam has cost him in terms of loosing his hobby he "want's back in" and then by some strange logic only known to him all will be forgiven.

I think we all have to remember there is that there has been a serious breach of trust on his behalf.
