Ps "Don'T" wear 9 jumpers and various other forms of poofy padding attempts as you'll sweat like a barsteward on crack.
Get overalls a size to big so they don't cut you in half when your laying on the ground and screaming like a girl as the first barrage of shot's come at ya.

Pps. Cocky Gits always get shot more for some reason that i've yet to figure out:rolleyes::D:D:D

one of the refs at the PA on sunday, dont know who it was took one in the knackers (i think)
the game had to be stopped, so yeah it can hurt if you're really unlucky :)
neck/finger shots hurt like hell for a few seconds, i got shot in between my fingers and the shell cut the webbing thing :S and my hand was shaking like a leaf for about 20 minuntes afterwards, but it didnt hurt that much, probably because of the adrenaline, like someone's already said, it acts like a pain barrier.

so yeah, just go out and enjoy yourself, its the most important thing!

also if you look to invest in kit afterwards, have a look in the classifieds section, some amazing deals to be had there :)

has anyone actually taken one to the goolies ? If QUOTE]

yes i have and it hurts like sh!t. but equally as painfull is when your shirt is tight round your back and you get 3 shots on your back less than 1ft away.
and yes that really hurts.
but pain is one of the things that makes paintball fun:)

take more money than you will need.
nothing can be worse than running out of money before the day is over.

Ok, jumping the gun a bit ( excuse the pun ) ive been having a look around the web and found some nice lookin equipment ...

Tipmann A5 and Proto PM7

Any users ?

What they like ?

What would be the best of the two ?

Also there are some flashy replicas of real weapons, are these any good or are they all show and no go ?

Also I noticed on some tube vids soldiers of fortune switching on and off and electrical device on their hoppers, is this standard on all or is it just a flashy super fast reload system that you buy included in the product or an after market addon ?

( Still anxiously awaiting the big day tomorow ... AAAAAAArrrrrggggghhhh hurry up !!! )

haha. well all hoppers (if you want to shoot faster than 3 bps) are electric, some are sound activated, some use eyes etc. so if you want to shoot fast, you need a hopper that can keep up!

PM7 IMO, theyr really nice.
but i guess it depends what you want to do, sup air (tournament - mostly stuff on youtube) or woodland type thing, either way with a PM7 you'd have no trouble doing either :)
glad you aren't going for an ion :p

EDIT; pm7s are smaller, lighter, faster (i think) and ready to roll straight out the box, but i THINK a5s sometimes need some mods to make them better (like most things really)
