Its a shame that people cant be trusted to just shoot semi

Ah, but that's what we need to find out..not whether people can be trusted to, but whether they want to...if tha vast majority of the customer base wants to use FA then the industry and event promoters would be fools not to cater to that desire.

I think there is an assumption amongst some top players who have mastered tha art of fast firing that 'real' players all want semi, and I don't think that's the case.

Dear lord, do we really have to go through this little chestnut again.

Syd, are you saying the modes are illigal in the UK? If so, can you tell us why that is?

I am confused, I thought (having read the mountains of other threads on the subject) that paintball guns are currently considered by the Home Office as in the same bracket as airsoft etc and therefore NOT a firearm (more like a toy) and therefore not limited by any particular firing mode?

Is the truth something different?

The law is clear - I pull, one shot. Enhancement ie storing shots is a grey area that they probably would allow, unofficially

FA is time served at her majestys pleasure

Just because they do it doesnt make it right.

Mind you - the projectile is so small and light it probably doesnt come close to any legal issues. Dont forget - load paintball guns with ball bearings and you have a lethal weapon (kids DON'T do this, unless you are American playing backwoods ball in Littlechip, Wanachobi,PA).

Mmmm, you haven't answered the question though.

As I understand it, full auto with a paintball gun is, under current UK law, legal due to it's non-lethal nature. Do you know otherwise.

Your point about lethality of air soft makes no sense. I could load it with tiny cyanide capsules and make one of those lethal but that is not what I am asking. :)
