As long as the logo doesnt look exactly the same or very colse to either Dye(barrels)without there permission(eg,there ur sponsor) or Dynastys logos.

The Dye logo does indeed look like Lexus and I too am suprised they have got away with it. But perhaps it's becuase the 2 companies are in such different markets ?????

The only thing stopping you from using Dynasty as a name would be if you use the same font, fr'instance two companies called DYE one Dave Youngblood e.t.c. the other Dan Y Egbert doesn't matter as long as the logo and Font are differant enough to avoid infringment of trade mark (TM) this has differant rules than copyright.

thats for the presiding judge to decide, He may find for B E but allow Odessy to continue manufacture and sale and award royalties to B E....... we shall have to wait and see........

Not sure why but the guys at Odysse are pretty confident about the law suit, and if they do run into trouble they have a new design that will most likley get around the patent and improve performance to boot.

In true capitalist fashion I think it was ment to be an upgrade to the original halo i.e. more money. It is rumored to be belt driven, faster, quieter, lighter the whole bit, but will see what happends.
