Ah, but then, get them to sign something e.g. any player willfully making head shots can be pulled. So they'll only do it once. Gotta remember, rec-ball is a business- you want 'em to come back. You could have a player who's never been before and isn't sure wether to come again. Half a hopper in the head is definately gonna tip the balance.

Back to the original question- 1 vs 3 in a tournament would go out one for one, just like you said. This wasn't a tournament though, so as Hatt said- it's your decision, you keep the game safe and flowing right. What you did worked, so it's gotta be OK.

Hehe, had to laugh....these guys are using SITE markers...if they aimed at the players FOOT they'd still hit them in the HEAD! So not really fair to pull them for head shots!!

If your close enough to hurt, your close enough to aim for the head, I'm talking intentional repeated headshots... pretty easy to spot when someones mask goes completely pink from half a hopper.

I know what you mean, if a punter sees a head above a sand bag he'll take the shot, gratefull that he can shoot at something that aint shooting back!
and besides an old and wise marshall once told me " if head shots don't count shoot it anyway, when he holds the welt with hand, shoot it! hand shots count!!"
