But to answer your question for one thing I read an interesting theory that in the pre-big-bang cosmos the speed of light altered and it was a change in the speed that imbalanced E=MC2 and bought matter into existance from the void (Nb. To buy this you have to be a bit of Zero-Point Energy/Super-String Theory enthusiast)
And once again please lets leave the physics alone because I'll bet it bores the crap out of people less sad than myself
To drag this back on topic I've never been too much of a Mag fan but I like what I've heard about the Level 10 Upgrade. Will have to see if I can have a go on one

Mags and Cockers - shot both, loved both, didn't find one was better than tha other, just takes some getting used to tha change between tha two guns. Personally, I found my Mag slightly easier to snapshoot than my Cocker, but that coulda bin a gun set-up deal, or just a personal thang.

Okay. For a start it's not my theory, I picked it up from a television documentary about big-bang cosmology last year. Although no one knows (or maybe will ever know) what it was like before the Big-Bang needless to say many Physcists wonder about it and how the event was triggered
One theory says that the "void" itself is not really empty even when you take out all the mass, as Space-Time is actually 10 Dimensional not 4 (don't even think about asking me about the equations behind this, they are way, way beyond me)
Everything exists in a barely detectable cloud of energy (Zero Point Energy) from which matter randomly jumps into existance... yes I know it sounds nutty but if E=MC2 is true energy and mass are fundamentally related
Now even before mass came into existance the theory says the energy cloud was there. Now it takes a vast amount of energy to create a tiny amount of mass because the speed of light is so high, but what if for some reason (watching the documentary my mind started to swim at this point btw) the value of C (velocity of light) suddenly dropped. Then you would get a lot more mass for your energy
A vast amount of matter might suddenly spring into existance and go bang!
Alright I'm not saying this is how things really happened but it's an interesting thought experiment if nothing else

Secondly, if we are talking about a Zero point energy system which by your own account cannot be actually zero because you said 'barely detectable’ which implies there must be something above zero there, then how can the speed of light be a factor when there is no light in this system and consequently cannot be a factor in explaining the spontaneous eruption of matter from a barely existent amorphous energy soup.
I mean, you can't quote the speed of light as a factor when light doesn't even exist in that system.
