I have to agree with Jonzo...right now the Ego is the best gun to choose for a team gun. I don't even shoot one, and I agree with him.
As for whoever said that Angels work fine: open your eyes. You don't need an intimate relationship with Avalanche or Arsenal, all you need to do is look at a magazine. All the time you see Arsenal's barrel porting filled with paint, and it simply ain't so with DM or Ego teams. I'm not sure what the Ego does right, because it operates at pressures comparable(and in some cases higher) than Angels and Intimidators, but still manages to stay relatively chop-free with even the most brittle of paints.
Seriously, do you really think WDP would release a gun that was inherently flawed? Do you have any appreciation for how much R+D goes into these things?

What cracks me up is that whenever teams are chopping paint they blame the marker. What about the bloody paint??? Put **** in and you'll get **** out. If the paint you are shooting is part sugar cube it's going to end up in multiple fragments about three foot from the end of your barrel.

Example, all you fan boys are bumming Ego's (good gun, not denying it) - but you didn't blame Ego's when Nexus were ripping paint apart in HB did you? However, if a team is having paint issues and also shooting an Angel - it's the marker, right? Couldn't possibly be the paint?

People see problems where they want to see them, not necassarily where the empiral evidence indicates is the root cause of the problem.

every gun has there chopping days and sweet days,if you have well greased/lubed etc you perfectly, if you have perfect paint, if you have perfect weather conditions, if you have the pefect bore size etc etc then you can say what gun is sh*t and what isnt

Ive used an eclipse impulse i have had chops
ive used an eblade i have had chops
ive used an angel 05 speed i have had chops
ive used a DM5 i have had chops
and currently have a shocker i have had chops
but i have also have had days on all guns where i have had no chops

ive not used all the markers in the world but the majority of the most popular but EVERY gun will at least chop once in its life time get over it

Is chopping really such an issue with the Angels? I put 2 cases through my wife's G7 a few weeks ago without a single chop, and only a few barrel breaks (my fault, too snug).

Yes, we really chopped alot of paint with our angels in Bitburg. Thank god we managed to chop the paint in the other teams faces..

WDP is not giving away their guns anymore, they are not paying teams silly amounts of money beacuse they have proven and build the brand and feel that they dont have to throw away resources. A new gun like the Ego have to market itself much more and therefore spend much more on sponsoring teams. A perfectly right thing to do until they also feel that the name Ego is firmly established.

WDP have invested heavily on the new gun instead, you will understand what this mean when you see it and try it, its simply perfect,
