Dont forget that Marcus Neilson got them a WDP sponsorship in the first place boys and girls, now that Arsenal dropped Marcus he obviously wasnt happy "cus he got stabbed in the back-Marcus" and is and prob always be in a good relationship with WDP so i did kinda see that it coming that arsenal will leave/dropped WDP

Never the less Arsenal are still a good team whateva gun they shoot they just need to have a consistent roster, cus this year and the last they were constantly having to gel with an inconsistent roster constantly changing and any company wud prob be happy to at least give them 7 guns at the least

Duff - I just can't agree with that. The only time DM's have problems for Pro teams who use them is when the weather is cold (Texas). I'm not picking on Angels, its just that in my conversations with players on last year's Avalanche, this years Arsenal, and another WDP team....they all said that they had too many gun problems to keep their heads focused on the game. I've been there. You cannot win when you're walking on the field knowing in the back of your head that theres a good chance you'll be chopping paint.

EGO's are currently the best performing & most proven tournament gun out there. Last year, the only time I chopped paint was in Miami...and thats because it was the first time they released Inertia and it just so happened to be a cold Miami morning. Same goes for the Alien Remains...no chops at tournaments. I've seen Angels do nothing but hack away at paint.

i disagree with that but hey everyone has their own opinion
my opinion is all top end guns are trouble free if you maintain them right ive tech'd maintained at least 3 dm's 1 proto an ego and a shocker for the last year or so through hot and cold weather and they have not had chopping problems or anything really go wrong unless the paint was really crap. so to say one gun is far superior to others is ludacris;)

sie - I agree, it is an opinion. I shouldn't have wrote it the way I did because I don't think the EGO is necessarily the best gun on the market, but I do think they have proven so far to be the most reliable.

Arsenal was staged right next to Kenny Crane and the Master Techs in HB and they still had gun trouble.

I'm not saying it is a flawless gun - if it was WDP wouldn't be (apparently) doing such a major revamp - but you don't make the top 4, or even Sunday, with a dog - and Joy and Rage have both had pretty good starts to the season with their Angels. Many people would say Rage had actually punched above their weight - which is tricky to do with extreme gun issues, no?

Maybe it's just cos I've been around a longt time, but I've heard the same stories about pretty much every gun, and in my experience as long as you look after it (i.e. throw it at a team mate who knows what he's doing and say 'make this work') they all tend to work OK. I've certainly used Angels in the UK winter and had no probs with them at all.

All that said, if you spoke to these guys and they had issues then they had issues, and I can't nay-say that.

I have to agree with Jonzo...right now the Ego is the best gun to choose for a team gun. I don't even shoot one, and I agree with him.
As for whoever said that Angels work fine: open your eyes. You don't need an intimate relationship with Avalanche or Arsenal, all you need to do is look at a magazine. All the time you see Arsenal's barrel porting filled with paint, and it simply ain't so with DM or Ego teams. I'm not sure what the Ego does right, because it operates at pressures comparable(and in some cases higher) than Angels and Intimidators, but still manages to stay relatively chop-free with even the most brittle of paints.
