See what I did there? But anyways...

You know I've had that nickname for over six years and that's the most original/entertaining joke that's been done on it. My hat is off to you "maestro" :)

Influenced by, not based on...dude every author and band that are worth their salt are edgy, yet are openly influenced by those who have gone before.
Personally I'd think that to be truely on the edge one would have to blaze your own path entirely but I'll accept your "influenced" rather than "based upon" explanation

And you're right about the logo, mag logos shouldn't last that long - 7 years waaaaaaaay too long to keep the same masthead - tha boys have bin lazy!
The old logo was a design classic. That never looked particularly dated. I'd argue that change is better evolutionary rather than revolutionary. The last shift in PGI style (towards the glossy European style) was first-rate but kept the traditions alive

Charles Darwin has been replaced by Che Guevara at PGI Towers methinks. What next? Robbo's already gradually appears to be abandoning his theories vis a vis technique versus Tactics. Will Rancid be turning his back on woodland 'ball? Will TJ become a style-free recballer. Will Baca Loco say something I agree with? Will the insanity never end? Won't somebody think of the children? IT'S THE DAWN OF ANARCHY I TELL YOU!!!!! :p :D

Got home from work, tore off the magazine packaging and I have to say I'm doing a U turn on my previous post.

You know, when you put them cover to cover like that I have to say I prefer the old style. :(

As I said I love the new look cover, and whats inside has, as always great content and again I love the look!!

Someone said that if they picked it up and had a quick flick through then they wouldn't buy it, I disagree, on a quick flick through it begs me to stop flicking and start reading.

Big thumbs up, it takes balls to change a format! You've done yourselfs proud!!

Well I suppose they could all claim to have been standing on the shoulders of giants (to coin Newton's phrase) but from the top of my head how about:

In science - Copernicus
In music - Bob Dylan
In architecture - Frank Lloyd Wright
In Economics/Game theory - John Nash
In Sport - Hayes Noel :)
