My wife and I were watching telly, some time ago.
We became aware of a disturbance in the force..I mean Close....muting the TV, revealed, surely enough...that something was occuring outside....we both went to the door, and opened it a crack...just in time to watch a guy getting stabbed in the face, in our front garden...blood spurting up the windows etc, the lot, literally at our be-slippered feet.

I remember feeling quite pumped..heart in the mouth kinda feeling...unfortunately it doesnt happen often, so have little else other than paintball and telling my wife her sister is better, mid coitus...

I am continually amazed at how frequently players insist pball is such a big rush as the only times I can remember any adreneline type thrill was when I was nearly clueless. The first few times playing walk-on and perhaps the first tourney or two but I quickly discovered the more I knew--or thought I knew--about how to play the calmer I remained. I continue to enjoy playing but the only excitement or nerves I ever get now is in 7-man when I'm not on the field and have no impact on our results. Maybe it's just a matter of personalities.

yeah maybe you're right, im still very new to playing anything but a bit of recball, and I get a massive rush out of playing fast paced games of supair and bunkering people etc. Maybe thats something that will disappear in time, or maybe it will stay with me, who knows :D
