Ok, I just got off the phone after a long talk with Gareth from the Tigers.
I get on well with him and the guys on Nexus all like and respect him; to cut a long story short, we have agreed to take our original names.
We will take Manchester, and they can have London.
It shoulda been obvious to anybody reading this thread the reason I was pushing this point and eventually both Gareth and I preferred to have no issues between any of us in 2004 and therefore I decided to agree to go back to our original city name proposal.
I hope a certain somebody has learnt a salutary lesson here, in that sometimes there are consequences for our ill-considered actions that at times, can affect the people round us.
Peace is restored just in time for Christmas
