If the Ref has not called you neutral - then don't let him/her move you, simple as that
IMO the players should read the rules as throughly as the Judges, and a good judge will hardly ever use a neutral call as it interupts the game

i thought that it was a given if there was a ref all over u looking for hits that u were neutral oh well he found one on me afterwards lol

No,
If the Ref says nothing, then you are still playing - if they want to move you they MUST call you neutral and make sure that no-one moves on you

If you're about to be mugged - no way! That's part of the game
If you have been injured seriously, then the Ref should either take you off-field, or if very serious injury has occured then the game should be stopped while First-Aid is given.
well i speak on behalf of the breathe guys here
we think you really pulled it out of the bag as everything that was wrong last time was right this time, players area ..could be a little bigger, chrony stations spot on , air spot on, marshals pretty good(people will always whinge at marshals) food good even a bouncy castle 4 the kids, and the competition from the other teams are just top notch...even the tropheys were an improvement, hopefully some people will put down some constructive critasizm up and you will improve on it even more so, and i think you will have the best league in the uk eaiserly

the reason that i posted this in the first place was to have a bit go a laugh bout it...
last bit of argueing: i defing danger as what happend to my neck!!and not being able to play for the rest of the day (or being a wimp which ever way u look at it)

You're not blaming anyone, if you knew the rules, you would have known that a judge cannot interfere with you playing UNLESS they call you neutral - so you should have said "Call me neutral or move!" and kept shooting
It staggers me that Players have no idea of the rules, yet complain about the Judging (Not aimed at you BTW, just in general)

Sorry about your neck - but it was YOUR decision not to wear a neck protector (I don't BTW)
How is a Judge supposed to know where you are going to be shot?
