Just a quick one on prices before this thread heads down hill into a Harry Hill style fist fight......
You could charge non UKPSF members and general public say £10, and members £8, but if they sign up to the UKPSF on the weekend, they receive a reduction of £2 to the yearly UKPSF subscription or something.
That way there is a good incentive for ALL paintballers to join up like they should, either before or during the event!

broken92, i know from expreance that arguing with robbo is a bad idear, and usally ends up with you looking like a fool, tbh althought u probally dont think it now he will be right, he always seems to be

il be there also my mate who plays in the woods is intrested and wonders ifthe woodsball side of things will be there, for example he wants to know weather he could fit a bt rip clip will fit his tippmen, so thats somthing he would like to hear from the manifacture as he worried about trusting fourms......
think its a great idear and support it 100%

I think Steve has a good idea, and with the help of P8ntballer I am sure it will be successful. 25 quid for the public. Suggest industry members pay 50 and donate $250 in raffle prizes.
This seems a very interesting idea, I worked at a snowboarding conference thing and it looked exciting, if only I could snowboard. If it goes ahead Ill probably come along even though iv quit playing (for now).
well this all sounds like a brilliant idea that could definately launch, could grab new interest in the sport from people outside of paintball as said above.
and for those scrooge's that feel that £10 entrance fee is unnaceptable.

have you ever been to any type of convention whether motor or music or other. they all have entrance fee's.
incase you havent noticed we are in an economical crisis and to not break even would not be very sensible would it and so for those reasons i feel that £10 is peanuts for what is bing offered in this event as long as it is after August 7th

Well when I saw your response, it self-evidently wasn't about come-backs but let's take me outa this for the time being and give you a fighting chance of escaping with some dignity here ...... Steve Bull is one the most highly respected people in our industry, he has served all of us tirelessly and thanklessly for a very long time.
And he has done this work, for the UKPSF, for all of us, for nothing...yes that's right broken92, for nothing !!!!!
This is just one of the reasons why he is one of the most respected and trusted individuals in UK Paintball.
And now, you come along, with all your expertise and standing in the game, and obvious pulsating intellect; and you have the barefaced cheek and ignorance to declare the initiative Steve is talking about starting as an 'opportunity to fleece', how fcuking dare you????
You know what, I am trying extremely hard to shuffle this coil of violence that has been a monkey on my back for soo long, but it's people like you who make it soooooo hard for me.
If you had one millionth the respect Steve Bull has got in this game, you will have dramatically overachieved.
