Its not so much not a warm welcome but the gents on the forum here require a modecome of sense and dignity so when you reply as you did it gets people's back up

there was nothing wrong with any of my post before i said what i did to robbo him self ! i have never met the bloke and didnt have a problem with him untill he was calling me for just expressing my opinion !
i didnt say anything about his post as tbh i think there is many people out there who deserve to win the award like every single person in the olympics !

And you haven't really insulted me at all; for you to achieve that, I would first have to respect your opinion.

Also, I think you are correct on one point in that I didn't give you a warm welcome and for that I duly apologise because I should welcome any new members to my forum, and for the most part, that is exactly what I do but you are undoubtedly an exception here.

The reason???

Well, I suppose you got it both barrels because I had started a thread and obviously felt quite passionate about the subject matter; that being the case, if you wanna tell me I'm wrong (which I have no problem with at all), then it might be a good idea for you to back up the rebuttal with good reason, some salient facts and maybe a smattering of commonsense.
I'm afraid you did not comply with any of these and I just fell victim to an emotional knee-jerk response ...please try and forgive me for being so sensitive.

Exactly, personal remarks directed to a forum member especially derogatory remarks will attract the attention of the mods.
I'm sure this was just said in the heat of the moment.

not a problem buddy ! if you really do feel that sensitive about it then maybe you should learn that other people will have a different view of the matter ! i have never disagreed that he does not deserve to win ! i just thought that hamilton has just as much right to win as he does IN MY OPINION ! not every body can be the same other wise it would be a really crappy world wouldnt it !
