i have never said that he doesnt deserve the award ! they both do ! i like both sports i just think it is a great achiment to be the yougest ever champ ! that is some going !
schumacher was great one of the best if not the best drivers the sport has ever seen but he is long gone and it is now time for the young blood to come up the ranks !

calzaghe is an amazing fighter but i very much doupt he will win !

and to your comment about not being able to win any other drivers championship i think you are 100% incorrect ! if you would have watch the top gear interview with him you would no this ! he was only .2 sec i think it was off the stigs best time in the dry and he did it in the wet ! and anothing thing you cant just swap and change boxers gloves as they are all different weights so may be if you did swap calzaghe's gloves he might not of won a few of his fights but you will never no !

Calzaghe isnt just the sportsman of the year hes sportsman of the century, over 12 years in the ring 46 fights 46 wins (32 KOs) he is one of the greatest fighters EVER not just this year EVER. Fighting greats like Eubank, Kessler, Jones jr, Hopkins, Lacy ect. This guy is a living legend plain and simple. He has fought everyone and done it.

Hamilton, undoubtly good, relied on a friend letting him pass on the last lap of the last race to win not a legend there. Hamilton is good but nowhere near as good as some previous drivers, he has been in a very good car though.

Calzaghe could slip on oven mitts and still win

Calzaghe may not win the award as its a joke award. It means nothing, and im sure someone of his amazing stature in the sporting world wouldnt lose any sleep if he didnt win.

Calzaghe is also a proud welshman who still lives in his home nation and has not run off abroad to avoid paying his taxes.

Put Hamilton in a honda or redbull and then if he still wins give him the sports personaility award .
