Same, its going to be a long wait but what I have herd its going to be worth it. After this release Greg Hastings should be out this year as well
From vids i've seen of gameplay on the tube the voice acting is a little corny, repetitive and I can only imagine it would get very irratating over time. Graphics aren't bad but they certainly ain't close to making full use of what the Xbox or Playstation are capable of, the bolts of guns that are firing are a little "stationary" don't you think?
The AI of computer opponents seems rather pathetic, laning, snap shooting etc is non existent from it and they continuously bump into bunkers that are being lit up or are clearly just a bad idea, it looks far to easy to just run up the field and bunker everyone, of course it's quite possible that there are difficulty options and all these vids are on "newb newb mode" or something.
Also appears that when you are shot you HAVE to attempt to wipe? if you fail you would imagine this means "you've been caught in the act ya scum bag!" but all you face is being sent to the dead box, your player doesn't even have to make the walk of shame either, he "teleports" before your very eyes! just like that.
One of my mates has it for the Playstation hes not had much game time so far and has neither stated for or against so hopefully I will get a go sometime and maybe I will discover that when you actually play the game, its a blast.

On the Wii the graphics aint bad, but nothing like the quality that you get in the football games (british or american), then the amount of money spent on this game is in no way going to match that spent on Pro Evo, Fifa, PGA Golf or Madden.
The breakout and lanes are set before the start of the game, but you are free to change breakouts (choice of 4), individual primaries and lanes. For me as a non-gamer, even the "newb newb" mode as you call it is difficult.
Levels of play are Amateur, Semi-Pro & Pro.In the real game its possible to walk up the field and bunker everyone, when you get good enough and the opposition are asleep. Guarantee you will only get to do it once though
That is not correct, what you actual see is a cheat meter (which can be turned off), this gives you the opportunity to try to wipe. You do not have to take this option, tis your decision alone just like on field. If you do and you get away with it then Markus Neilsen in the making, if you get seen then it's an automatic 1:4:1. There are flaws in the game, the main one for me, so far, is the non customisability of the controls on the Wii version plus the lack of a non rock based sound track.
But its each to his own. You need to play it before you judge it harshly though
