I don't doubt that they could easily do it, I just mean there's no way to know if it's real or not :)

So if they call it is and you should hang up, otherwise who knows?

I once got a chain letter in the post, it had like 500+ signatures from around the world on it. Like **** i sent it on.
I ignore all emails i dont know the sender of or wasnt expecting, best way.

i keep getting calls off this 0800 number and when i answer it no one speaks and then they hang up within a few seconds and now i have noticed my phone bill has got higher is it possible for fraudsters to do this and somehow steal your credit?

Its possible to hack somone's phone through blue tooth and make calls to numbers through that handset. People who do this make a premium rate number and make other peoples hand set call it so they can make £1.50 a minute or whatever they charge. That's what they did on the real hustle but I can't see how this phoning sombody up and getting them to press that would work.
There is a bluetooth program you can get that lets you make calls usingthere phone, but i'm not sure if oyu can actually talk to the person your calling

i got that bluetooth program on my phone. its quite funny when you make someone elses phone start playing music in school:p

its an computer controlled automated dialler. the system rings several numbers at once, and then connects the first answered call to the operator. if someone else answers it tends to give you a moments silence before it recognises that there is noone to connect you to, and then hangs up the line.
