We all made kit in the late 80's and early 90's - not a lot of option because you just couldn't buy gear like hoppers, pots etc.. off the shelf here in the UK. I had several home made hoppers, 100 ball pots, silencers & stocks... all made from polypipe or alloy tube/bar from B&Q

Things were going great for the home-brewed hopper market right up until this happened;



But great British technology kept up and we even had our own powered hopper for a while;
