Can I ask why Seb? If people are given a choice you would always have the selection of people saying " we shouldn't, they shouldn't, I don't want to, yadda yadda"it would of been nice if we were asked what we thought first.
Seb
Great to have your support Syd I knew you would do it.The NSPL will be following suit, but I think there are some additional issues here that need to be discussed including player registration and aligning this scheme with the EPBF registration system (i.e. Millennium Cards) so players can have one card for everything if they choose, or just a UK insurance and tournament registration card.
If this amount of effort is going to put in, I believe we need to get it right. Let's go the whole hog and have a database of registered tournament and recreational players at the same time.
I have discussed the UKPSF scheme with Bully in the past and feel that it is a great vehicle to get things moving and ensure players are protected.
Would players not prefer to pay a slightly higher premium and be covered for ALL paintball activities, as it stands it seems to me like buying car insurance and only being covered on 12 different approved roads in the country. But they don't cover the NSPL format?
They only seem to cover :
Walk On events at Yorkshire Paintball
Tournaments at Universal Paintball
Walk On events at Campaign Paintball
Walk On events at Skirmish Norfolk
Walk On events at Skirmish High Wycombe
Walk on events at Combat Paintball (Norfolk)
Walk On events at Powerplay Paintball
Walk On events at Frontline Paintball
PA Cup events
Walk On events at Dragons Lair
Armageddon Events
or am I mis-understanding?
