To be honest whatever surface it is, all teams will have the same problems so it wont make any team have an advantage so thats good.

The only thing im worried about is how will they peg the bunkers in  surely pegs wont stay in sand, lol. :)
exposed bolt markers might be more at risk than non exposed ones however.

Perhaps waterbags inside the bunkers as in the NPPL ! ;)

I honestly hope this is all just a hoax.... would be a joke if it is indeed sand - but let´s just all wait and see, perhaps and official word from the millennium board would calm everybody down ?

Happy it´s Malaga - though flights are still extremely expensive from our part of the Europe it still IS a great great venue.

Not sure when it was but they ran out of turf for a nppl event and painted the last bit green and it was on a car park dunny will know he told me about it.

HB last year was the best surface ever. turf over sand was mint.

I have been told that they cant get the turf in time so they have to do it on sand.
yeh thats pretty much briefly was what i was gettin at

i woudnt be so worried about the bunkers, water in the bottom, i know a lot of the bunkers are filled this way (cpl field at cc06 was done this way i took it down)

its more the netting that i would be worried about, no metal pegs (pegs being a small version i presume these things are big) being able to hold the posts up,which it being on a beach will probably suffer from wind at some point during the tournement.

The MS generally use water filled tanks to keep up netting i cant really be bothered to explain the whole process but it will not be a problem :)
