First ever HB was on sand.

huntington beach 2003 , was on sand , not only did it slow down the pace of the game, thee were lots of equipment failure, you can shoot people out just richocheting them off the sand at the bottom of the bunker , so huntington beach since has been played on turf and maybe car park painted green

Not sure when it was but they ran out of turf for a nppl event and painted the last bit green and it was on a car park dunny will know he told me about it.
HB last year was the best surface ever. turf over sand was mint.
I have been told that they cant get the turf in time so they have to do it on sand.

Not the first one. It was completely sand. As sandy as a Dynasty player covered in sand, shooting a sandy Ton Ton.
They all seemed to have fun.

To be honest whatever surface it is, all teams will have the same problems so it wont make any team have an advantage so thats good.
The only thing im worried about is how will they peg the bunkers in surely pegs wont stay in sand, lol.
