- If your serious about playing quality paintball and think you have what it takes ask for a tryout on your best local team even if there pro and youve only played D1 NSPL and a Campaign Cup they will still be impressed by the fact you have actually show some desire to better your game and will probably be very willing to help you.
- Fitness is a very important aspect and if your thinking about stepping it up you are going to have to be very physically able considering everything is now changing to Xball and the game is generally getting faster (I hate fitness and my team captin can confirm i have been a lazy **** in the past but recently ive been trying to pull my finger out and i feel great)
- Do not turn up on a Sunday as a few people have said and DOS around! Get there at 9am and work your ass off until it starts to get dark.
- There is always stuff you can be doing even if the field isnt free, dont waste your weekend do a bleep test or some circuit training.
- You dont need 10 people to train, 1 on 1 battling, 1 shot check, half court games etc
- Lastly dont be half arsed, if you dont want to play dont play, put all your fricken heart into training to be the best, its hard but its a case if you dont want it enough and dont drive yourself to it, well hell you aint gonna get it.
Im lucky to of played under one of the best minds in UK paintball in my opinion and he has bred into us great work ethic (maybe mines abit shoddy but youll have to ask him that) and i cant thank him enough for what hes done for my game. Hopefully i havent offended anyone with this post and its just my own opinon i also apoligise if i have gone somewhat off track.
