Even though its still only a "Cult" i was thinking about good ol Tom Cruise ...

A Scientologist is more qualified to help at a car crash?

Sorry, but ill take a Doctor or Paramedic of ANY faith over tom cruise trying to save my left leg ... with crazy pills.

As for religion? The basis of it is good, after all the law most of us follow is pretty much based from the 10 commandments, but ill follow my own religion of Swiss Roll worship.

If you had some kind of Big Stick to quell extremism in all of its forms, then everything would probably be cool.

Aye, I don't really believe in anything but if I saw it with my own eyes then I probably would, karma ftw.

Fixed :p

Gravity: Doesn't exist. If items of mass had any impact of others, then mountains should have people orbiting them. Or the space shuttle in space should have the astronauts orbiting it. Of course, that's just the tip of the gravity myth. Think about it. Scientists want us to believe that the sun has a gravitation pull strong enough to keep a planet like neptune or pluto in orbit, but then it's not strong enough to keep the moon in orbit? Why is that? What I believe is going on here is this: These objects in space have yet to receive mans touch, and thus have no sin to weigh them down. This isn't the case for earth, where we see the impact of transfered sin to material objects. The more sin, the heavier something is

RE is not the subject it is meant to be at my school and it pisses me off that the teachers "impose" there views on us. We raise our own points in lesson which the teacher then agrees with or turns around and tells you are wrong. When the actual basis of RE lessons are you too hear about other religions non-bisistly and for you to then form your own opinion.

I do not belive in God but i do have a interest in what/how people belive in religion an how they interpret it

when i had to sit through this mumbo jumbo, we had a reverend teach us and when we disputed the fact that jesus and god could be real he went ape****!

i wish i had been given the teacher that was athiest - but to be fair she taught the clever ones, at gcse in my mocks i got an F and in the real thing, i got a C without learning anything extra - apart from starting each sentence with " I believe..." i think the good ol' rev disliked me, partly cos i drew all over the front page as i completed the mock in about 10 mins and sat there for 40 mins bored out of my skull.

I dislike people who refuse to accept other peoples beliefs, however there is line, now i dont want to tread on anybody's toes but immigrants - they have a right to follow their religion, but expecting us to change our beliefs and traditions because it offends them in OUR country - however this is skating on thin ice and is a matter for a completely different thread.

I often like to think about what happens to you once you pop your clogs, i.e. what happens, do you get reborn, do you just see black for ages etc etc - sounds sad i know but it intrigues me and when im really bored i do think about it, occasionally you get someone else who wonders the same as you and you can have awsome discussions with them and its intreguing.

phew - thats enough from me

lol ditto i only got the mark last week! my teacher is always relating religion to some event that happened in south africa it freaky and weird when she does it!
gcse's suck ass. piece of piss - but honestly start each sentence of your re exam with "in my opinion, or i believe.." worked for me.

A levels are a different kettle of fish - or perhaps its just the subjects i chose.:(

another problem with religion is the fact that the worlds most powerful country is very religous and the last few elections have been decided in part by the issue of abortion and of course there are more religous than not in america and so anyone who supports abortion (democrats) loose out, 2008 is looking to be different however, more important issues seem to be dominating voters opinions. but it would be very interesting to see what an evangelical or some born again christian such as george bush would say on the matter.
